2023 - Riesling
It was fantastic to join more than 30 wine producers and growers on Tuesday for our Riesling Vineyard Walk and Tasting in the lead up to harvest on February 28, 2023
Grapegrowers and Winemakers toured local Riesling vineyards and were joined by three notable Clare Valley winemakers to discuss key vineyard management decisions which shape the quality of their wines.
The group visited Naked Run Wines Vineyard with Steve Baraglia, Springvale Vineyard with Jeffrey Grosset and Florita Vineyard with Tom Barry followed by a guided tasting of these single vineyard wines from 2022 vintage at the Sevenhill Hotel.
Vineyard managers and winemakers all shared a consistent message that overall vineyard health is a key factor in producing quality fruit.
