Anna Baum

Executive Officer

Anna has been the executive officer of the Clare Valley Wine & Grape Association (CVWGA) since October 2020, managing the small CVWGA team. Prior to amalgamation of the wine and grape associations, she was the Executive Office of Clare Region Winegrape Growers Association, taking up the role of project officer following amalgamation.

With a background in Agricultural Science and Viticulture, Anna completed a journalism cadetship with West Australian Newspapers before taking up a junior policy position for the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries in the Western Australian Government. She has worked in the cellar, laboratory and vineyard in the Great Southern, Margaret River, Rutherglen, Napa Valley and Douro Valley before moving to Clare.

Anna manages the association, under the guidance of the CVWGA board, to oversee the delivery of marketing and promotional activity, to advocate on industry issues and to deliver education, training and engagement programs.

Jordan Martin

Communications & Administration Officer

Jordan manages the communications including the website, social media and newsletter and she provides administrative support on a number of digital platforms. Jordan has come to us with a wealth of knowledge of the region and its offerings, having worked in the Clare Valley Wine, Food & Tourism Centre and for Regional Development Australia.

Jordan is the key contact for the Associate Food Membership, our hospitality and tourism stakeholders, and all communications queries.

Rachel Trengove

Engagement & Education Officer

Rachel is excited to return to viticulture after several years working as a project officer for broadacre farming groups in the Mid North. Rachel majored in Viticulture at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 2000. Following several vintages in the cellar and laboratory in France, Oregon, Canada, Padthaway and the Riverland, Rachel worked as a viticulturist and regional viticulturist for Orlando, leaving the company when she moved to her husband's family farming business in Spalding.

Rachel has been engaged to support activities in the Sustainability and Innovation & Education pillars of our strategy. She will be organising workshops, field walks and trips, managing field trials and overseeing education and training programs. Initially Rachel will focus on supporting the Sustainable Winegrowing Australia program, helping our members who undertook the certification training prepare for audit prior to the 2024 vintage.
